MONA Necklace - 50% of proceeds donated

The MONA necklace is a special one. It all started with a beach encounter in Lombok. Every day these ladies would sell their handmade things at the beach, day in day out, to make a living and to feed their families. We started talking. They told me about their struggle. Yet, they were full of joy and the kindest people. I did what I could by buying things from them. But it was just a small portion and not enough for them to make a true living. I fell in love with one necklace a local lady named Mona made. I customized it a bit and have been wearing it ever since. That's when I had the idea of how I could make a slightly bigger impact: The idea of the Mona Necklace came alive – a beautiful pearl necklace handmade by Mona and 50% off all proceeds will go back to Mona and her village. 

Mona x Tulua Verde is the first collaborative effort. It's a realization that giving back is what truly makes us human. That lifting each other up, empowering each other, is what lies in the essence of the human being.
