The idea to create clothing that not only looks good but also makes a difference emerged a few years ago, after Nina, the founder, became aware of the negative impact of the fast fashion industry. Motivated by a desire to create garments with a positive impact, we dedicated nearly two years to developing our first swimwear and surfwear collection, crafted from regenerated polyester thread sourced from pre- and post-consumer waste. Our vision is to grow Tulua Verde into a holistic, sustainable lifestyle brand inspired by surf culture.

    Ethical and fair production is one of our most important values. With our products we want to create work opportunities for people where work is needed and empower people through paying a fair living wage.

  • Eco-friendly

    We want to be as sustainable as possible. With the selection of our materials we use high-quality raw materials (silver & gold) and regenerated polyester thread from pre and post-consumer waste. Our factory is soon 100% solar powered and we keep packaging to a minimum and only from sustainable and renewable ressources.

  • Handmade & small quantities

    Every piece is handmade by talented artisans with love. We only produce in limited quantities and match production quantities with customer demand to avoid stock excess.

Tulua is Sanskrit and means becoming more, rising while verde is Spanish for green – symbolic of a more eco-friendly and sustainable world. Together Tulua Verde translates into green rising. It stands for a vision of a greener and more sustainable world that respects and lives in harmony with nature. In particular, it is the dream of a revolutionized fashion system – a fashion system that creates aesthetically beautiful yet eco-friendly clothing.
